Spacious, well equipped, easy parking, location to shops and food

The Hotel is easy to find but try to check before the Staff leaves although when we arrived late at about 8.00 pm he happened to be still around . But, don’t count on this . Otherwise, you have to be kin digitally which is not something I am most adept to .

The interior is gorgeous, very tastefully done. The details - the artwork, the pottery, the choice of furniture are beautiful. The experience awakened our senses. Our room 4F was spacious, with beds, a large shower and laundry and a lovely little kitchen. It’s very close to the onsens and shops and the hotel has an allocated parking space. Cafe downstairs offers delicious food. We scored a few pieces of beautiful Beppu pottery from the in-house shop.

Our room was huge with plenty of room for our family or four. They also provide towels and onsen kits that you can bring to any of the nearby public onsens. We also really appreciated the very helpful staff. We arrived a bit late but they were there to help us in.

HAJIMARI Beppu was great for a short or long time stay. They give you vouchers to an onsen every night so you can enjoy traditional onsens. The room was so well designed. I loved the cassette player and the option to choose and play tapes during your stay. You can have in room massages as well at extra costs. Loved the café as well. Very decent price for this stay.

This hotel is a must for architecture and design fans. The attention to details is amazing. It is close to Beppu's city center and the room has all you need for both, shorter or longer stays. The staff was super friendly and we loved the collection of cassettes.

The room was clearly designed with aesthetics in mind, it was well-designed with lots of mindful and interesting touches. The casette player was really fun and it was a very enjoyable stay. Staff was kind, polite and very helpful.

The apartment was very spacious and had lots of natural light in the living area. It was very clean.

It was beautiful! What an amazing hotel, would recommend anyone going to Beppu to book a night here it was fantastic. The art in the rooms and the energy of the space was immaculate. We had breakfast down stairs the next morning which was delicious and very relaxing. It was a very simple check in, it is in a quieter area of Beppu which was a nice way to finish our time here.
